BEN PICKED FOR ACADEMY 🟦⬜️

The club are delighted that Ben Thompson has been selected for the National Athletics Academy, Ben being one of just a 15 strong cohort. Run by Scottish Athletics, the programme supports track and field athletes gearing towards senior level competition. Very well done to Ben and club coaches. Yet another fine example of athlete and club success.

SA National XC Relays event cancelled due to the weather forecast.

Event Cancelled ❗️ National XC Relay Championships

Tomorrow’s Lindsays National XC Relay Championships in Cumbernauld (Saturday 24 October) have been cancelled on safety grounds.

The decision was made by Scottish Athletics staff and event officials, following a review of the latest forecast and conditions at the venue, and considering the weather warning for wind in the area from 12pm.

The safety of everyone involved in our events is our first priority. This was not an easy decision, and we know how disappointing it will be for the athletes, coaches, clubs, officials and volunteers who have put so much into preparing for the day.

We are looking at options for the event and will share an update as soon as we have more information.
