World Squash Day always means a lot to members and friends of Forthill Squash Club in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland.
Derek Sword was a squash club member at Forthill before he moved to New York. His mum, Irene, and brother, Graeme still live nearby.

Today at the club, we had a special World Squash Day Rally for squash session with some juniors. It’s the school holidays here so we don’t normally run junior sessions but we ran one session specially to celebrate Derek and world squash.

We played all sorts of games (squash and others) around the theme of ‘rally.’ Everyone had fun and learned that rallying around to help your squash pals is very important.

We only managed one photo where no one looks too happy but, believe you me, we were!
