Edinburgh College would like to thank Stuart Gray (pictured center) and everyone at Knockhill for their continued support.

Knockhill and Stuart Gray generously provide the college with a number of complimentary tickets for every round. These are greatly appreciated and make volunteering a much more attractive opportunity for prospective students.

Running race cars within the SMRC gives students the chance to be part of real race weekends, working together as a team and getting involved from the initial build right through to racing. It is invaluable, hands-on experience in a live motorsport environment that is otherwise hard to come by.

As highlighted by Edina Ecosse team lead Brian Alexander, opportunities like this are rare in Scotland, giving students the chance to gain genuine motorsport experience they wouldn’t normally get. With the support of Stuart, Knockhill, and the SMRC, students can become an active part of the paddock and start building their way into the sport.

Season 2026 is off to a flying start!

After a couple of weeks busy prep with two new builds and lots of effort from Edinburgh College students and staff we were rewarded with a brace of podiums!

Great team effort from all and some awsome driving from Marc Nisbet Racing and Henry Gillespie with both being on the pace after an eventful testing. Strong performance from Kenny Dock getting faster all weekend.

Big shout out to Motrio UK for providing quality parts and lubricants.

What a weekend, both Marc Nisbet Racing and Henry Gillespie were on it all weekend so unlucky to only come away with one podium! Congratulations Henry that will be a hard one to beat!

Septembers meeting saw Henry Gillespie in his Motrio Edina Ecosse machine continue the series of new track records being set across the 2025 season. Despite the adverse weather all weekend, the C1s managed mostly dry running, allowing the new Knockhill record to drop by just 0.040s as Henry bettered Ayden Wilson’s May effort.
