Dunfermline Carnegie Hockey Club

The club has been approved as an Education Approved Provider for schools in Fife. This will help us maintain & develop our youth programme in partnership with local schools, Active Schools Fife & the Dunfermline & West Fife Sports Council.

Our youth hockey sessions are back up & running after the Summer break. New attendees welcome - days/times see poster.

It's nearly time for our youth sessions to resume, restart dates and time are as follows:
Under 10/12/14 sessions from Tuesday 25th and Thursday 27th August between 5.45 and 7pm, and Sunday 30th 10-11.

Under 16 sessions from Thursday 27th 7-8, and Sunday 30th 11-12.

New players are always welcome, just turn up and speak to the coaches and we will get you involved!

Sheila recently organised a meet-up of the ladies team from a 'few' years ago. The ladies had a great meet up and look forward to doing it again in the near future.

Any other ex-members out there are welcome to get in touch with the club!

The Women's Hockey World Cup is here, and so we look at another chapter from Scotland's hockey history.

📸 This time we're looking back at the Scotland squad that competed at the 1998 Women's Hockey World Cup.

For those selected, a World Cup appearance represented the highest level of international competition and the chance to test themselves against the best players in the world.

Do you recognise any familiar faces? We'd love to hear from players, officials, supporters and anyone who has memories connected to the tournament.

Both of the O50s squads have been in action already, the men going down 3-1 to England, and the ladies winning 1-0 against Ireland. Ruth is currently in action against South Africa.

They're off ....... well done to the lads & lasses attending the initial preseason fitness session. We have twice weekly preseason fitness & fun sessions in Dunfermline Public Park 7 - 8pm from Tuesday 21st & Thursday 23rd July - meet at the bandstand + car parking at the station.
These sessions are for ALL members playing in the ladies & mens teams - PLEASE NOTE the sessions are suitable for all levels of (un)fitness - you go at your OWN PACE! New members always welcome 😊
