Another landmark moment for the All Stars!

Sunday saw the Under-11 Fife All Stars make their on-field debut as a team with a game in sunny Edinburgh to take on the Edinburgh Napier Knights.

With only a few members of the team experiencing a little game time as part of u14s this year, it was always going to be a daunting day for them, playing against an older more experienced side, adding in different playing conditions, a loud and noisy Knights crowd and lack of experience made for a tricky task ahead.

The scoreline didn't reflect the game. These u11s don't know the meaning of the word Quit! They kept going every play, refusing to let their heads drop, supported each other all game and came up with some big plays of their own. Neat snaps, smooth hand-offs, an epic first touchdown run for the u11s from deep in their own half, and a domineering stop by the D on their own 1yd line for 4 straight downs!

A makeshift crew of some u14s aided by a few u11s then took to the field giving them the chance to work on their playbook and more game time experience outwith league/competition play.

The boys did a smooth professional job - shutting down the Knights offence and scoring some impressive touchdowns and a safety to run out comfortable 28-0 winners and a good exercise in the sun!

Well done to all the All Stars on a great historic day for the club and many thanks to the Edinburgh Napier Knights for the invitation and hospitality, especially given how busy things were in prep for the contact game. We look forward to coming back soon!

Now it's time for the U11s!
Our youngest All Stars go on the road to make their debut as a team this Sunday with a friendly match against the Edinburgh Napier Knights.

This great bunch of kids have all been playing less than a year with some only just starting the sport in the last few months so this will be a great and fun experience for them against a fellow new team.

A brilliant outing for the U14 Fife Allstars on Game Day 1 🏈🔥

Despite heading into the day with only 5 recognised U14 players available, the squad dug deep and showed incredible character to finish the day undefeated.

✅ 61-19 vs Edinburgh Napier Knights
✅ 34-28 vs Tayside Longhorns
✅ 27-6 vs Dunfermline Kings

The roster was heavily stretched, with several U11 players stepping up into an age group and environment they’d never experienced before. For many, this was their very first gameday — and every single one of them contributed massively throughout the day. 👏

Huge credit has to go to the core group who went full Ironman football for most of the tournament, rarely coming off the field and battling through every snap on both sides of the ball. The effort and resilience shown was outstanding.

🌟 Special mention to Monty, who only recently joined the team and had never played before. Against the Knights he produced an MVP calibre performance, making huge plays and announcing himself in style.

The second game against the Longhorns was a real test of character. For large parts of the first half the Allstars looked in control, but credit to Tayside who fought their way back into the game and piled the pressure on late. You could see the inexperience begin to show as momentum shifted, but the boys dug in when it mattered most and found a way to get the win.

The final game against Dunfermline rounded off a long day with another strong team performance to keep the unbeaten record intact 💪

A massive well done to every player who stepped onto the field today. The growth, effort and togetherness in this squad is incredible to watch.

U17 Fife Allstars! Game day 2 💫🏈

Game Day 2 was a repeat fixture list from the opening round, and the team showed just how much they’ve improved in only a few weeks since game day 1. After some tough battles on the first game day, Allstars came back sharper and more disciplined across every phase of the games.

✅ 50-6 vs Tayside Longhorns
✅ 66-0 vs Dunfermline Kings

A huge amount of respect to every team we faced and the effort put into hosting by the Tayside Longhorns👏

Special mentions today:

🔥 Levi was absolutely clinical at QB all day long, making smart reads, protecting the football and keeping the offence moving drive after drive.

💥 Cameron stepped into the blitzer role for his first gameday and completely took over at times — relentless pressure and huge plays against opposing QBs all day.

⚡️ Adnan came in as an impact sub and made massive plays whenever his number was called. Energy, intensity and game-changing moments throughout.

But most importantly, this was a complete TEAM performance. Every single player contributed, the communication was outstanding, mistakes were kept to a minimum and the sideline energy never dropped once. Coaches couldn’t be prouder of the effort and attitude shown by this group.

Now we reset and prepare to face the other half of the division next month 👀🏈

U17 repeat their 1st game day with Aberdeen Oilcats Tayside Longhorns & Kings Youth American Football Club.

Allstars hit the ground running, opening their 2026 season with an impressive first game day performance.

Despite missing several key players, the squad faced local rivals Kings Youth American Football Club and U17 debutants Aberdeen Oilcats Ocelots — coming away with two strong wins.

The opening game against Kings finished 60–7. While the scoreline suggests a comfortable win, the game itself was more competitive. Kings showed a well-structured offence and tested us early, but our defence helped to create key turnovers — including a pick-six from Nathan Smith that helped swing momentum.

Offensively, the Allstars did enough but on a different day would have been punished for some errors. Despite some mis timed balls QB Levi Bezuidenhout spread the ball well finding his receivers in space keeping pressure on the Kings defence. Defensively, there were strong contributions across the board, with multiple players racking up tackle tallies and limiting big plays.

The second game against Aberdeen Ocelots proved even more competitive than the scoreline suggests, finishing 66–29. Aberdeen, coming off their first-ever win, played with confidence and intensity, pushing the Allstars throughout.

The game itself was extended due to challenges from both sidelines and a few contentious decisions, which disrupted flow at times. However, Allstars maintained composure and continued to execute offensively.

The standout performance came from new signing Charlie Louden, who scored 5 touchdowns in this game — taking his total to 8 for the day — a huge impact on his debut.

Defensively, Allstars continued to step up, with interceptions and solid tackle counts helping to contain Aberdeen at key moments, despite their persistence and attacking threat.

Overall, a very positive start to the season with plenty to build on across both sides of the ball.

Next up: Game Day on 2nd May in Dundee, where we’ll face both teams again.
