For those interested in the hills and within striking distance of Dunfermline, the Munro Legacy Exhibition will be on display at the Carnegie Library and Galleries from 16 January until 11 March. The exhibition, presented by the Munro Society, tells the story of Scotland’s mountains as a source of recreation, from its 19th century beginnings to the huge activity that it has become today.
The exhibition room is an impressive space and the Library and Galleries are located beside Dunfermline Abbey in the city’s historic centre.
Even better, there’s an excellent cafe in the building!
