Saturday saw us bow out in Round 1 of the Marshall Cup against a very good Division 2 side in the form of Football Club Goodyear.

A bad 13-minute spell at the start of the game saw us go 3–0 down, but that didn’t hit the lads’ confidence as they pulled the sleeves up and got ready to battle.

The lads got two goals back through Oliver and O’Hara, but Goodyear found a fourth goal in the 71st minute to see the game out and progress to the next round.

Despite the result, there are a lot of positives to take out of yesterday’s game and plenty to build on. A massive thank you to McAleers Bar for the refresh nets after the game.

Yesterday saw us pick up a point on the road in our first game of the season in a very evenly contested game of football.

We had some lovely passages of play and created some good chances, but just couldn’t make the most of them.

Great win for the lads against Kildress Cowboys F.C in a last minute friendly. Great minutes in the legs ahead of the start of the season this coming Saturday. All the best to the cowboys in their league this coining year.
