30 odd years ago I was given a copy of drawing for a bicycle frame which was attributed to the design work of Ettore Bugatti. With the help of Paul Cameron Paul Cameron to turn that drawing in to a CAD drawing, has allowed me to not only start experimenting with how to assemble the frame, but also to understand the materials needed. This is the first simple attempt at the silver joints for this elaborate lattice tubed bicycle frame. As a first attempt, I was pleased with it, but the need to buttress all the silver joints, is going to take time and care during assembly. What was Ettore thinking of when he sat at his drawing table all those years ago?. A steady hand, time and patience is needed; but what a fantastically beautiful design! But I suppose that was Ettore’ thinking!
