Fun and games at the Fungatta yesterday. A big "thank you" to Ellie, Gill, Alison, Ruairidh and Liz for making it a great day.

It's regatta weekend and the forecast looks good so why come down for a burger and a beer and bring the tent? BBQ will be lit at 4pm on Saturday with the bar (and Pimms!) open till late. You don't have to be racing to come down. See you there!!

REGATTA ENTRIES NOW OPEN
Entries are now open for the regatta this coming weekend (3rd and 4th June). Please message Fiona Mackay for a copy of the entry form and notice of race. The Bar will be open on Friday evening as well as Saturday and Sunday so please bring a tent and enjoy the whole weekend with us! Those not wishing to sail are also welcome in the evening, and any volunteers who haven't already got a job are greatly welcomed.

The TSC end of season work party is to be at 2pm Saturday 5th November 2022, this will be followed by a fish supper in aid of the local lifeboat station at Tighnabruaich. For the information of the newer members amongst us, the fish supper is a tradition at the club from when the membership worked together to lift the all keel boats out in a day at Ardyne. It will also give the keel boat owners a chance to thank the volunteers of the Lift Out Team.

There will be plenty for the work party to do. Kayaks and gear to be prepped and stored, masts and stands to be put back into the Dinghy Compound, Ribs to be winterised and placed in the Boatstore and no doubt many other jobs will crop up before then.

Lastly, one of the club’s Standard Horizon hand held radios has gone missing, please check for it in your kit bags and gear.

Just a reminder if you haven’t already bought tickets for prize giving on Saturday 29th October.

It will be taking place in the club house from 7pm. The cost of the tickets will be £5 per person. As usual everyone is encouraged to bring a dish for the buffet. Numbers are restricted due to space so if you would like to attend please contact Gill Judd on 07904990618 (evenings please) before October 22 to reserve tickets.

It will be BYOB and there will be a raffle so any contribution to prizes will be welcome

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THE DEFIBRILLATOR AT TSC!!

The defibrillator located at Toward Seasports Club is subject to a manufacturers recall on Tuesday 13th September 2022.
In the interim a replacement device will be provided by the manufacturers, though the club will be left without a defibrillator for a few hours, as the couriers are unable to exchange the devices at the club premises.
The nearest defibrillator is located outside Innellan Village Hall, this device is unaffected by the recall.

TSC apologise for any inconvenience and sincerely hope that none of us are affected by the temporary disruption to the service.
