CLEANER REQUIRED – DUNSTABLE – IMMEDIATE START
We are looking for a reliable and exceptionally thorough self-employed cleaner to maintain our busy dance and performing arts school in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
This role requires someone with a genuinely keen eye for detail who notices the things others might miss. We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and will help us maintain an exceptionally clean, professional and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.
Hours and pay:
* £15 per hour
* Minimum of 15 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours
* Three hours per day, five days per week
* Cleaning must be completed either after 9:30pm or before 8:30am
* Predominantly term-time, although additional work may be available during school and summer holidays
* Immediate start
The role involves maintaining the entire building, with different areas and deeper-cleaning tasks covered on a scheduled rota.
Duties will include:
* Cleaning dance studios, classrooms and communal areas
* Cleaning toilets and changing facilities
* Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
* Cleaning mirrors, surfaces and frequently touched areas
* Emptying bins
* Paying close attention to corners, edges, skirting boards and other easily missed areas
* Completing scheduled deeper-cleaning tasks
* Reporting maintenance issues or low cleaning supplies
All necessary cleaning equipment and products will be provided.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has an exceptional eye for detail
* Takes genuine pride in achieving a high standard
* Is reliable, punctual and consistent
* Can work independently without needing close supervision
* Is physically able to undertake the requirements of the role
* Can commit to working five days per week
* Ideally has previous commercial cleaning experience
* Is available to start immediately
