Shincliffe Juniors Whites

What a way to dust off the cobwebs after the summer break.

With a few quality new additions to the squad the Whites started on the front foot and were 7 up by half time with goals from Arron (2), Ollie (2), Logan, Layton and Jamie. The half was controlled by Shincliffe who attacked in waves with Layton (motm) having the beating of Blackhall’s left back from the very first attack and gave him a torrid time all game. The midfield along with the addition of Logan who fitted in straight away, found outlet balls with ease whilst protecting the largely redundant defence.

The second half was more of the same as Shincliffe dominated possession scoring at will. The scoreline could have been doubled had it not been for Blackhall’s keeper who even though conceded another 8 was outstanding. Another of the new signings Malachi, was brought on at half time, he too seemed to glide past the tiring defence and scored a second half hat-trick.

A defensively solid performance was marshalled by Josh, Jacob and Daniel who looks to have time when called upon.

By the end of the game Shincliffe had ran away scoring 15 (Reggie 2, Arron 1 Alex and Jamie) for what was a comfortable start to the season.
