What a way to sign off the season! Durham County U13’s sealed a brilliant 3-2 win in their final game — capped off with a massive penalty save from Matty with the last kick of the match to secure all three points!

It’s been a fantastic season from start to finish, with the team finishing 2nd in the league and only 3 defeats all year. County have played some incredible football and shown real growth as a team.

A huge thank you to David and Paul for everything they’ve done this season — not just in coaching, but in building a team culture based on respect: for each other, for the opposition, for the officials, and for the game itself. The team always give 100%, play hard, and play fair — and that’s a credit to everyone involved.

We’re already looking forward to next season! Well done, County!

What a morning for the team! The sun finally made an appearance, and the team set to work, battling hard for each other from the first whistle. Once we broke the deadlock with our opening goal, the team settled in and played some good football.

A special shoutout to Mason — great to see him back on the pitch after his injury, making a real impact in the second half!

Durham County battled hard this morning, finishing 2-2 after a tough match, but unfortunately bowed out of the cup after a penalty shootout.

Great result this morning as we came away with a 3-1 win in tough, cold, and windy conditions. It was a scrappy game at times, but we kept our discipline, stuck to playing our football, and got the job done.

We go again next week as we face the same side in the cup — time to refocus and get ready for another big challenge!

Our first game of the year, and what a performance! Despite the absolutely freezing conditions, the team delivered a red-hot display, securing a fantastic 5-1 victory over Peterlee. ❄️⚽
