🌟STAR OF THE MONTH🌟

Goes to the wonderful Weronika.

Since joining the team at Durham, Weronika has shown her commitment, dedication, passion and professionalism in every interaction with parents, swimmers and the team alike. She works incredibly hard, always going above and beyond to support in any way she can. Recently this month, at a moment's notice, she's gone to other sites to ensure that all swimmers, regardless of venue, get the best possible experience and don't miss their lesson.

She's super friendly, helpful and so eager to learn and improve, not only in her own teaching and ops roles, but to see what she can do to support her swimmers on their learning journey too!

She's reliable, considerate, thoughtful and an all round superhero! We are lucky to have you as part of Team Durham.

Congratulations on Star of the Month, it is SO deserved. We appreciate you! 🥳

We’re open as normal this Bank Holiday Monday 💜

He is someone we can always rely on, whether that’s stepping in to cover shifts at the last minute, supporting the team wherever needed, or simply getting on with whatever task is asked of him with a positive attitude. His willingness to help, flexibility, and team‑first mindset make a real difference day in, day out.

What really stands out is that he always shows up with a smile, even when things don’t go perfectly. He takes everything in his stride, learns from every experience, and never lets challenges dampen his enthusiasm. That resilience and positivity set a great example for everyone around him.

It’s Numbers Week, which apparently means “bring your entire family tree”.

Freddie, Will, Isla, and Rory turned the pool into their own personal water park and still managed some seriously impressive swimming.

Also featuring: not one but two Stars of the Week, because excellence is contagious.

Our Durham superstar of the week is Jude! ⭐️

Jude attended for some of our amazing 1-2-1 booster sessions with his favourite teacher, Joe over his Easter Holidays, and has made such MASSIVE progress, that he's moved from swim 1 into swim 2! 🥳

Jude started with us very scared to let go of the wall, unwilling to jump in from the side without holding the teacher's hand, and today, he did a huge jump into the deep end of the pool making a massive splash! He's absolutely flying.

🌟TEAM STAR OF THE MONTH MARCH🌟

Our winner for March is Megan. ⭐️

Megan has great communication skills. She always makes sure she provides feedback to parents. She genuinely cares for all the children and wants to give them the best lesson.

Megan is a great asset to the team overcoming personal challenges, which has shown an increase in her confidence…a brilliant role model for the children.

Well done Megan and keep up the good work! 💜🎉

Easter is fast approaching, so we just wanted to share an update about our opening hours over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend 💜
The great news is that we won't have any closures, so your lessons will all continue as usual!

Friday 3rd April - Open as usual

Super star swimming from Hugh and Poppy this week. It was Hugh’s first week in swim 3 and did awesome swimming⭐️ Poppy is smashing it since moving into swim 4 too! 🥳
