Important Club Update:

Our sincerest apologies for not keeping you all up-to-date on skydiving with us as part of the Strathclyde Skydiving Club.

Unfortunately, due to a range of circumstances, we have had to pause all official club activities, including trips to the dropzone and our official socials. We are working tirelessly as a committee to resolve these issues and have the club up and running again as soon as possible.

For the mean time, members of the committee will still be at Bar Home every Tuesday in an unofficial capacity. Feel free to come along for a chat and to ask any questions you might have.

Finally, we would love to set up a Messenger group for all active members so that we can give you all the most up-to-date information. If you would like to be added, message us on this page or over on Instagram.

All the best,

Louise

(Club Captain)

Hi I'm Charlotte, I'm a 3rd year Biomedical Engineering student. I joined Skydiving in first year and have been hooked ever since. Jumping feels so surreal and I'm so excited to be part of the team that gets to introduce the joy to others. Can't wait to meet some new faces this year!

This week we will be introducing and hearing a bit from our committee members starting of with Louise

Hi! I'm Louise, the captain for this year. I am going into my third year studying biomedical engineering. I decided to start skydiving because it's something I've always dreamed of doing, and when I was handed a flyer at fresher's week it sealed the deal for me!
I love the anticipation of climbing up to 15,000ft in the plane, the rush of freefall and the way I feel like I'm floating under canopy. I would recommend everyone to try it at least once!
