Victory for our first team today against Littletown 2's. We bowled Littletown all out for 153, chasing the runs down for the loss of only 2 wickets, Albi 48 and Jamie Monaghan 47.

Fantastic win for the first team today against Tudhoe Cricket-Club.

Tudhoe setting the lads a 227 run target to win, Junaid with 4 wickets and Ibrahim 3 wickets the pick of the bowlers.

The lads chased down the total in a very exciting finish with 1 over to spare.

Junaid again the pick of the batsmen with 76, Bash 38, Albi 26.

Brilliant team performance all round, onto next week lads

Our Midweek XI travel back to Tudhoe CC

Then this weekend the firsts travel to Wearmouth & YAV CC and the seconds host Langley Park and Bearpark

Our first midweek team of the new season with a new challenge joining the Durham & North East Cricket League - DNECL Official midweek league for the first time. We travel up to Crook Town Cricket Club for the first game. Many of the lads getting the first chance to don their whites for the year.

Both our games this week were preceded with a moving tribute to Bryan Conlin who very sadly lost his battle with cancer.

Our first XI bowled Leadgate out with a total of 207, J Rickets the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 31 with each other bowler picking up at least 1 wicket. Sadly we were only able to chase 130 runs falling short. J Haider with a solid 52

Our second XI made it 3 wins out of 3 with another dominant display of bowling. Bowling Tantobie all out for 61, P Chayton and B Ghosh with 3 a piece. We chased the total down with the loss of 4 wickets, P Chaytor 18 not out and E Wright 13 not out.

Our teams for this coming weekend. Firsts travelling to Leadgate CC, a new ground for many of I think.

Contrasting fortunes for our teams this weekend. Our First XI were set a target of 162 by Kimblesworth but ended up 114 all out.

Our second XI game lasted only 63 minutes! N Worthy with his second 5fer in 2 weeks finishing with figures of 6 wickets in 5.2 over for 12 runs, P Chaytor mopping up with 3 wickets for 0 runs in 2 overs.
