Our team provides consultancy services and is credited with saving numerous pools under threat of closure. Leisure Training & Consultancy North East have been a providing high quality and professional training in the North East and Yorkshire for over 20 years. We offer a wide range of courses to suit the needs of our clients.

Congratulations to the 8 staff from Gateshead Leisure Centre who successfully passed their final exam yesterday to become fully qualified Pool Plant Operators.

The level 3 course is accredited by STA (Swimming Teachers Association) and allows successful candidates to be responsible for pool water testing, filtration, chemical dosing and lots of other aspects of running the pool plant system.

***RLSS Pool Lifeguard Trainer/Assessor Course***

Monday 21st to Friday 25th September 2026 (5days)
Redcar Leisure Centre, Ridley St, Redcar TS10 1TD
9.00am to 5.30pm each day
£720 per candidate (incl VAT)

Course run by highly experienced National Trainer/Assessor with extensive knowledge of both the leisure industry and emergency services.

The venue is a well presented leisure centre with excellent facilities, close to local amenities. Cheap nearby parking is available and there are good public transport links. Redcar Leisure Centre is next door to Redcar Central station, with direct rail links to York, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle. See Northern for some cheap tickets and train times.

This course is operated by LTC North East Ltd - a highly rated Approved Training Provider with an award winning team of excellent tutors.
