13 years ago I stepped in to a women’s only gym and my life changed forever!

Thanks to the instructor and the amazing lasses up there, i found a love for exercise - finally something that made me feel good both physically and mentally, something I could control.

Even after all of this time, motivation slips.
Self doubt, outside noise.

We’re not robots, we’re human beings with thoughts, feelings and general life s**t.

Do you, do what you love, do what you can - your goals are important, YOU are important - GO! NOW!

Tonight, I had our Mason motivating me and what a good workout it was!

My anxiety is high in anticipation for Sunday.

Does anyone else’s anxiety tell them they just aren’t good enough to do whatever it is they want to do!?

The mad thing is, I did the GNR last year!
BUT…my mind is only remembering the fact I couldn’t walk never mind run from mile 8…

It’s telling me I’m going to fail quicker this year…

Am I listening!?

I started exercising to look after my mental health — and it’s the reason I keep going.

For me, exercise has always been so much more than just fitness. When I move my body, I feel the stress ease, my mind clears, and I get that reminder that I’m stronger than I think.

Some days it’s a tough workout, other days it’s just a walk — but either way, it makes a difference.

What I’ve learned is it doesn’t have to be perfect or extreme. It just has to be consistent. Showing up for myself, even in small ways, has been a game-changer.

Exercise doesn’t solve everything, but it helps me face anything. And looking after my mind has been the greatest result of moving my body.

6:30am start for myself and Catherine!
What a way to start the day!

Promised myself I’d add an extra mile each week, 6.3miles last week, nearly 7.8miles today.

Big thanks chick for running steady away and for the chat, usually I’m an ignorant bi**ch with my earphones in and ignoring everyone just to get through!
