Foundation of Light Whites 2-0 Houghton Albion
The Whites continued their excellent run of form with another outstanding team performance, securing a 2-0 victory over Houghton Albion and making it three clean sheets in a row.
Goals from Vinnie Jones and Aiden Wilkie, assisted by Miles Atkinson and Harley Everest, capped off another impressive display from a side that continues to grow in confidence every week.
At the heart of a solid defensive performance were Miles Atkinson and Luke Adams, who were deservedly recognised with the Coaches Man of the Match and Parents Man of the Match awards respectively. Both defenders were outstanding throughout, helping to keep another clean sheet and leading by example from the back.
Aiden Wilkie was relentless from the first whistle to the last. His work rate was exceptional and he was unfortunate not to add more goals to his tally after causing problems for the opposition defence all game.
Vinnie Jones delivered another performance that has become the norm for him, working tirelessly up and down the wing, contributing at both ends of the pitch and deservedly getting himself on the scoresheet.
In midfield, Charlie Deluce was like a bulldozer, winning challenges, driving the team forward and giving the opposition very little time on the ball.
Jaxson Smith adapted brilliantly to a new position, holding the ball up well and showing some lovely touches up front that helped bring his teammates into the game.
Harley Everest continues to come on leaps and bounds. His confidence is growing with every match and it was fantastic to see him rewarded with an assist after another positive performance.
Max Dodds did everything that was asked of him in goal. Although he wasn't heavily troubled, he remained focused throughout and dealt comfortably with the situations that came his way.
Once again, the boys put in a tremendous team effort, especially considering we only had one substitute available. Every player played their part in another superb performance, and the hard work on the training ground is clearly paying off.
Well done, lads – keep it going!

Foundation of Light Whites 2-0 Belmont United
What a performance from the lads today.
With three players unavailable and only one substitute, all eight of the boys on the pitch worked their socks off from the first whistle to the last. Their effort, determination and teamwork were outstanding throughout.
Defensively, we were excellent. We limited Belmont United to very few chances and just a single shot on target all game. Huge credit to Josh, who volunteered to go in goal and did a fantastic job when called upon.
The passing, movement and work rate on display were exactly what we have been asking for in training, and it was brilliant to see the boys putting it all together on matchday. They played with confidence, supported each other all over the pitch and showed great discipline both in and out of possession.
Back-to-back clean sheets is another sign of how much we have developed as a team defensively. Every player played their part and worked tirelessly for one another.
Normally we'd pick out a few standout performances, but today it's impossible to single out just one player. Every single lad was fantastic from start to finish and there genuinely isn't a single negative to take away from the game.
A brilliant team performance and one the boys should be very proud of.

Spring Cup Action
A fantastic performance from the lads today.
Defensively, they were outstanding throughout, and their passing was excellent for most of the game. They created plenty of chances in the first half and were unfortunate to go into the break with only a 1–0 lead.
The second half was even better, with the team continuing to work hard, play positive football, and add three more goals to secure a deserved and comfortable 4–0 victory.
Well done to all the lads on a brilliant team performance. Hopefully they can take this confidence and momentum into next week’s Flamingo Land tournament. 👏⚽🏆
