NORTHERN WOMEN'S TENNIS DAY: 8/6/26
A unique networking event at the Lexus Ilkley Open for women working across all areas of tennis. Bringing together the female workforce across Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham & Cleveland, Lancashire and Yorkshire, this inspiring afternoon celebrates the achievements and impact of the female workforce in the North, providing a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and build professional relationships. Great Britain's Neal Skupski and his American partner Christian Harrison have won the Australian Open men's doubles title, defeating Australian wildcards Jason Kubler and Marc Polmans 7-6 6-4.

As we come to the end of the year, parents might be wondering which age group their children can play in from 1st January.
The LTA competition age groups chart shows birth year and event age brackets. You can find out more, or use the LTA competition age group calculator at the link below:

2026 is looming and we are so excited to be launching as the new LTA Workforce Development Centre for the North of England. We will be working with , , , , , Northumberland & .tennis to provide Tennis & Padel CPD and Qualifications for coaches and officials.
We have been very busy speaking with counties, venues and key partners to put together a meaningful calendar that works for our area. We still have some work to doβ¦. But we are proud of the work we have done so far.
This is just the start of something very exciting!!
