Durham School Boat Club is a school club offering rowing to students, parents, friends and other local schools. Eddie Bryant
The Boat Club, founded in 1847 is just 3-4minutes walk from school and is situated on the banks of the River Wear, overlooked by Durham Cathedral. The club houses a fleet of boats including singles, doubles, quads and eights. The school also has a land based training facility with indoor rowing ergometers and strength and conditioning equipment. Rowing is offered to all pupils in the Senior School

BUCS Head 2024 Round up. Four OD's in action this weekend. James Purves Liddel and Sophie Allison both racing for Newcastle University, James Harbottle racing for Nottingham Trent Univeristy and Harry Cameron racing for Northumbia Univerisity. Special mention to JPL picking up a Gold in the CH4- and a Silver in CH8+ and Sophie picking up a Bronze in WI8+ .harbottle

Tyne Head 2024 proved to be a tough one for many reasons, half the squad ill, equipment failure etc but fair play to the crews that competed, they faced up and rowed well! Well done to all involved and great support from parents again!
