8th Feb @ 6:30pm - Ushaw Cricket Club then beyond 🕺🍻⚽️

It’s been 5 sad years since the demise of this great footballing institution. We made the decision January 2020 to fold the club as it was becoming too hard to get a team together. A lot of clubs since than have also fallen by the wayside. Sadly Sunday league is not what it used to be.

Some of the old heads have been chatting and we think it would be great to get together over a few beers to reminisce about the good and days and remind ourselves how wonderful it was to wear the UMCCFC badge irrespective of how good/sh*t we were at the time.

So, we’re having a night out 8th Feb in Durham. It would be great to see all the old faces.

Details of times and meeting places will be decided shortly.

Share if you will.

Peace out

Same drill tomorrow. Anyone interested just turn up at the cricket club about 10am in the morning. Gentle kick about for charity (£5 per head donated to Air Ambulance). Bring your own shorts and socks, there’s enough tops to go around.

Raffle in the cricket club afterwards, bring a bottle please.

Big thank you to everyone that turned out this morning and a massive shout out to all those involved at Ushaw CC for letting us use the facilities. It was geat to see so many people in the club this afternoon.

30+ turned out for the game which saw the Blues nick it 4-3, referee decisions aside and it should have been 2-3 to the Reds (not bitter).

We’ve manage to raise £600 for Cheesy Waffles today through the football and raffle. Huge thank you for everyone that donated.

Great day x
