We have 14 spaces available this morning.. (out of 15..) this is usually our most popular set up historically!!

We have 6 children regardless of numbers, but we really need the bookings to help us cover the session costs especially if you want to keep them running!

13 spaces out of 15 available.. (10 need to be filled daily to fully cover current costs) 😏

And we still have 13 spaces to fill.. not a great start to the week I know.. but against my better judgement, we're going ahead anyway, so the children I personally look after still get to take part.. 😏

Suitable from about 5 months + but we have had younger attend too..

All ages 0-4s welcome!

Set up is dairy free today but not Gluten free.

Morning all we are back on Gloucester at the GDA and it's not too late to join us!

Messy play for 0-4s (participation from about 4/5 months+)

10-11.30am today (Fri 11th Sept)- doesn't matter what time you get here or what time you leave!

"The Discovery session.."

There is no end goal, there is no starting plan.. there are no rules, (-besides basic commonsense respect- like don't harm others or things)

It's exactly what it says- a discovery session.. a chance to play with and explore, and discover various materials in whatever way suits their current play schema and age and needs..

Each week brings a new material or set up.. each session is filled with children of various ages and ability - both Sen and Non sen children that come with different ideas, different imaginations at different stages and levels and every child walks away whaving gotten something from it, even when they just observe others play. Don't be fooled by thinking your child isn't getting anything from it, or your child is bored or your child isn't interested - they all get there at different speeds and it's walking away too soon, or stopping attendance that prevents a child from getting there in their own time.. they will suprise you it just may take a little time.. and that's ok!

Here's what our own little lot got up to today.. 🥰 sequencing, construction, deconstruction, transportation, trajectory, rotation, enclosing and enveloping and transformation play schemas seen throughout the session in a variety of ways can you spot them?

Language, physical education, maths, PSE, art, DT, working on Gross and fine motor skills and more from the EYFS were all covered today, and all we did was fill a hall with cardboard, tape, stickers and colouring pens/pencils.. 💚
