Dwygyfylchi Crown Green Bowling Club A friendly (bilingual) Crown Green Bowling Club open to ALL. Access by small gate on Treforris Road (but not whilst Covid-19 is still a threat)

We have two teams (A and B) in the Colwyn & Llandudno District Bowling League playing on Wednesday Evenings and one team playing in the Gwynedd Seniors Bowling League on Tuesday afternoons.

The Gwynedd Seniors league has finished today! The A team (playing in division b) were pipped by Bethesda by 2 points! An incredible season in a tough league. Our B team came a respectable 11th place and remain in the same division next season. Well done to all who played.

Carol Edwards David Edwards and David Triner were all in the top 3 of the averages which is a fantastic achievement for the individuals and the club! Well done you three!

Dwygyfylchi Crown Green Bowling Club would like to wish Amelia Northrop all the best playing in the Welsh Champions of Champions at Coedpoeth this Sunday 20th September - 11am start

Amelia has had a great season and long may it continue!

The club would also like to wish James Todd and Nicky Jones from Penmaenmawr Bowling Club all the best and hope they play well in the respective matches! A great number of players from such a small community.

Yesterday saw another fantastic performance from Carol Edwards who successfully qualified for the Merit final at Rhos Park on the 24th!

Carol played at Kinmel Bay and played some amazing bowls beating some top bowlers.

We wish Carol and Lee Groom the very best in Rhos Park.

Today saw our leading averages participant Lee Groom play the end of season merit at old colwyn bowling club! Lee won both his games and moved onto the quarter finals at Rhos Park on the 24th September 2pm start!

The final is Monday 14th at Rhos Park Bowling Club vs Min at Don B 6pm start!

Congratulations and well done to the B team who have been crowned champions of Division B Colwyn Bay & Llandudno District Bowling league.

A fantastic achievement for our little
Community club. The B team now move into Division A. A special mention for Lee Groom who played the whole season unbeaten!

The A team also had a fantastic season in the same division with a 4th place finish.

Well done to both teams!
