Situated on high ground above the conservation village of Eaglesham, Bonnyton offers spectacular views across the beautiful Scottish countryside.

Designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie (designer of Augusta) Bonnyton Golf Club is situated on high ground, just above the conservation village of Eaglesham, in the south side of Glasgow. Designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie (responsible for the likes of Augusta National, Cypress Point, and Royal Melbourne), Bonnyton offers spectacular views across the beautiful Scottish countryside as far as snow-capped Ben Lomond, the Campsies and beyond. The course is surrounded by dramatic, rolling, heather-covered moorland and has been landscaped to combine the relaxing pastoral feel of mature woodland with the drama of its natural surroundings. Bonnyton is a large, friendly club with membership vacancies in categories to suit all ages and levels of commitment. The Club organises competitions and events for Gents, Ladies and Juniors allowing all of our Members to obtain an official SGU handicap.

🏆 Club Championship & Plate Finals at Bonnyton

Today brings 36 holes of elite matchplay golf to Bonnyton Golf Club, as four players compete for two of the club’s major trophies.

In the Club Championship Final, Winestone Cup winner Willie MacMillan takes on Neil Gray.

The Plate Final sees brother versus brother, as Marcus Wynne faces Brodie Wynne.

Morning matches tee off at 8.00am, with the afternoon rounds beginning at 12.30pm.

Members and spectators are encouraged to come along, follow the matches and support all four finalists as the drama unfolds.

Good luck to Willie, Neil, Marcus and Brodie.
