Yeah, we’re a gym… but we’re a hell of a lot more than a gym. 🧡
There are bigger gyms than us. Fancier gyms. Gyms with millions spent on equipment, cafés, apps and probably machines I wouldn’t even know how to switch on 🤣🤷🏻♂️
And that’s absolutely fine 👍🏼
Because after 37 years, I’ve realised that’s never really been what Jupiter is about.
We’re still independent. Still family run. And most importantly, we actually know and care about the people who walk through our doors. ❤️
You’re not membership number 8472 here.
We know your name 👋🏼
We notice when you’ve disappeared for a couple of weeks 👀😂
We know about your dodgy knee, bad back or shoulder that’s been knacking since 2007 🤣
But we also ask how the grandkids are ❤️
How the bairn did in their GCSEs 📚
How your holiday was ☀️🍹
Whether you got that new job 🤞🏼
We wish you happy birthday… and might even get you a card and cake if we really like ya 😉🎂🤣
And when life gets s***y, because it does, we rally round. 🧡
We listen. We take the p**s when appropriate 😂 and hopefully, for that hour inside our four walls, we help you forget about some of the heavy stuff outside them.
Obviously we want you fitter, stronger and healthier 💪🏼
But a good gym should give you more than that.
Friends. Confidence. Routine. Support. A laugh. Somewhere you actually WANT to be. ❤️
That’s what I’m most proud of after 37 years.
Not the equipment.
Not the classes.
Not the facilities.
The community. 🧡
We might not be the biggest gym.
We might not be the fanciest.
But I’ll back us against anyone when it comes to actually giving a s**t about the people who walk through our doors. 💪🏼🧡
That’s Jupiter.
