School of Rock at the Fringe⚡

Well we want to just say we're sorry as an audience member over the shows where there were sound issues during parts of the shows. Our cast done a fantastic job and the reviews definitely back this up and we couldn't be more proud.

Ourselves and the professional filming crew have filed official complaints with the Venue in the hopes they can ensure it doesn't happen to people next year. We know it's a big task to put on a full theatre production at the fringe but were given assurances professional staff would be provided ( we paid for ) and would be there each show, which unfortunately did not happen.

By the last weekend we were told with no notice they had a mic receiver disappear and then Sunday another 2 mics weren't fictional. When we arrived the sound wasn't even connected up and no staff were present until just before we started at the tech area.

You will all know we work so hard and do what we can to put on amazing shows the cast and the audience can enjoy. So it's a little disappointing to have been let down in that way.

We can't thank you enough for your support over these 4 shows and you kept coming back when more tickets went on sale so that says everything we need to know about the show itself 🌟

2027 will be in a new venue and all the information will be at a free info day and workshop in October 🌟

We haven’t even finished Fringe 2026 yet… but we’re already planning for 2027! ⭐

Encore’s Fringe journey has been incredible so far. In 2025, our production of Matilda played to sold-out audiences, and this year School of Rock has continued that success. Across our Fringe performances so far, we’ve welcomed audiences totalling over 800 ticket sales – and we’re back in Edinburgh this weekend for our final two performances of 2026!

Now we’re looking for the performers who could join us for our next Fringe adventure.
