It has been quite a couple of weeks, I dont think there have been many other times in my life I have had to dig as deep to find the gratitude and the positivity as the past week or so but what I will say is community is everything. I have been blown away by the support Louise and I have had and it has truly shown us that a building is bricks and mortar and that people are so much more.

Miraculously I have not missed a single yoga class or cancelled a single client while this has all been going on 🤣 so keep on booking in with me and come along on the next part of my journey......

YOGA

All of my yoga classes are now at the lovely . A really nice women's gym with really nice vibes. I am so grateful to have met and found her wonderful gym to teach in. Look out for some lively collaboration in the future!

REFLEXOLOGY AND MASSAGE

I have a beautiful garden room in Mossneuk set up and I am already quite in love with it! I'd love to have you along! And watch out for new offerings come October!

DOULA

Well, I dont need a premises for that do I? Hospital or home I will be there. Still a birth doula space for November to he had if anyone wants it.

Lots of love

Honestly, I don't think I can ever show the level of gratitude I feel for client referrals, especially with what I do being such a sensitive line of work.

Whether it is yoga, reflexology, massage or doula work, when someone refers a friend to me, it shows a level of trust that does not go unnoticed.
Ive had people talk about me in NHS homebirth meetings, in corporate meetings, over coffee, from really far afield and it makes my heart sing whenever I hear of it.

And it really is the back bone of my business. So thank you 🙏

Forgot to post this the other night. I'm posting these so that everyone who has sponsored me so far can follow the journey and realise that they are not just sponsoring one day, they are supporting me and motivating me on these daily boring wet rainy training runs.

Its all for brainstrust and inspired by

1) A steam cleaner for cleaning kitchens and bathrooms. I truly thought my bathrooms were clean till I started using this. And don't even get me started on the dishwasher

2) As much as I would love to see Taylor more (I mean I did watch her birth her second baby in her living room) she is so good as colouring that I only see her twice a year. She talks about root taps and colour melts and I understand none of it but I'm here for her witchcraft .tlchair

3) Microbladed eyebrows. As a blondie I was forever getting them dyed and shaped and nothing ever lasted more than a week or so. I went to Emily and she has crafted the most natural looking but permanent brows way over a year ago and they are still going strong. I also get my lashes done by her too. Highly recommend. .lashes

4) A birth doula. Don't waste your money on the pram that costs as much as a small car. The curated nursery that baby will hate being in. The designer clothes that they will poo and vomit all over. You will never ever regret the money you spend on a doula. And when people ask what to buy you, ask them for money towards a doula.

5) A post partum doula. I hear all the time over social media people saying there is no support for post natal women. NOT TRUE!! There are doulas all over waiting to help you! And see the big gifts you get for leaving your work on maternity you never end up using?? Ask them for gift vouchers for me. They are on my website.

Random musings. I promised myself once the kids were back at school I would get back on social media but this is as good as it gets this morning 🤣

Summer 2026. Quite honestly I have never had a better summer in my life and I am so grateful.

I always get such a heavy heart when the kids go back to school. I can't get my head round the fact that I only have one primary aged child left. I stopped in my head when my youngest was born and with every year thats gone by since then I've thought right this is my favourite stage, lets pause time here. But time always goes on and I just try to live wirh gratitude for each moment and each next stage is always my favourite anyway.

Life's by no means perfect and it is so challenging at times but being grateful continually transforms those moments.

In terms of work, it was topped and tailed with the most tremendous births. My first "second time" doula client and into 6 weeks post natal with her, finishing up nicely when I went on holiday (still need to close her bones though, that will be an emotional one).

Then a very timely birth that meant I didnt miss today and the back to school morning (I remember the same worry last year, but it always works out 😍)

We are moving into busy birth season and Pregnancy yoga class is a reflection of that. The positive birth stories from class keep on coming.

I am next on call in September, and have a post natal client then too, but still have some availability for the rest of the year. I have January, February availability but am already booked for March 😊🎊.

And remember, I know it seems like Im all about pregnancy and birth and everyone knows that's my bag, but yoga Reflexology and massage is also open to all women! So get in touch.

I had a moment today that in my sleep deprived state made me cry

A woman came up to me at the White Loch and said are those your kids over there? Oh here we go I thought, am I getting ready to defend them or give them a b*llocking 🤣

She then went on to say, "I just wanted to take the time to come up and say what lovely children they are. We were chatting when I was in swimming and they are so lovely and polite"

After a summer holiday where it goes from feeling like a week too long to then thinking ah can we just continue like this for a little longer and pause time i cannot tell you how much I needed that.

I've long since stopped trying so hard in the summer. With everything.

I cant be on top of work and social media and marketing and filling classes and clinics and be present for the kids....

....and I also cant be present for the kids all the time because quite frankly there are moments when they do my box in and other things have to take priority.

So when you get a wee perfect day like today following a near perfect night at work as a doula you just grab it with both hands.

Nobody to talk to at 3.25am and here are my doula musings 🫶🤪
