Retford & District Lifesavers Retford & District Lifesaving Club teach young people essential personal safety & rescue techniques

Retford Lifesaving Club teach young people safety and rescue skills for use in, on and around water, as well as personal first aid and life support. For 6 to 12 year olds, the Rookie Lifeguard programme provides fun and engaging awards and activities whilst gathering the skills they'll need in future awards. For the over 12s, the new Survive & Save programme offers a series of challenging yet interesting awards in a range of disciplines, including Sport, Beach and Stillwater environments. Raffle Prize Request!

As you have all proved over the past that you are amazing at sourcing raffle prizesโ€ฆโ€ฆ we are asking again for your support please.
We are holding a raffle at the North Notts Business Awards in a few weeks time and would love to have an overflowing table of prizes again! If any donations of prizes can be brought on Saturday 5th or Saturday 12th September that would be AMAZING!

Thank you for your support, any money raised will go back into club funds to support our future sporting events!!

A lifeguard from Norfolk is going viral online after he was captured escorting an elderly female toes deep into the sea whilst holding her hand. ๐ŸฅฐLifeguarding isnโ€™t all about saving lives, sometimes itโ€™s about creating memories for the beachgoers. This is certainly a memory this lady wonโ€™t forget anytime soon, what a credit this individual is for the RNLI.
