Well what a month we have had on the Pier we have so many different species come up here is what has come up;
Bull heads
Pout
Bass
Dogfish
Plaice
Dabs
Whiting
Rocking
Conger Eels
Thornback Rays
Sole
We ran a Ray competition from the 5th January till 26th February
The winner 🏆 was John Rudd with a lovely 10LB 5oz Ray second was Kim with a 6LB 8oz and 3rd was .carter.7792 with a 5 LB 4oz
Well done to you all 👏👏👏
The Biggest Round fish of the month was
John Rudd with his 10LB 5oz (PB) Thornback Ray
The Biggest Flatfish of the was
Drew with his 1LB 2oz Sole ( PB)
Hopefully March will fished well as February 🎣
We are holding a other Ray competition that's start tomorrow (1st March) till the 1st April the two prizes for the Biggest Ray of the month and the Overall weight of the month.

So last month has been a slow month for fishing on the Pier but we have caught many species so far we have had;
Bass
Plaice
Dabs
Ling
Scorpion fish aka Bull head
Thornback Rays
Conger eel
Whiting
Po***ck
Pout
We start a Ray competition on the 5th January it started of very well but slowly died down at the moment with have just got to Members that have caught some in
1st place is rudd weighing in one at 7LB 7oz
2nd place is weighing in one at 5LB 4oz
The competition is on till Saturday 26th February soo hopefully we have many more come up this month...
Also we have had some beautiful sunrises this month as well,we also seen the starlings returning doing there flight each evening in numbers
