Eastbourne Community Tennis Tournament 2024

Entries are now open until 28th January 2023

This Eastbourne community event is open to any Eastbourne resident or players associated to an Eastbourne tennis venue.

Most venues have come together to open their doors up for FREE to play your matches. Terms apply on the website https://www.ectt.co.uk

Hampden Park Tennis Club
Meads Lawn Tennis at ROMPA
David Lloyd Club
Old Town Hub
Hampden Park Community Courts
Manor Gardens
Fisherman’s Green

The finals will be held over the weekend of 22 - 23 June. Be a part of this unique event and you could meet new players to play against and eventually become the BEST player is Eastbourne!

This year has flown by and we are wanting to get ready for 2024!

JULY NEWS : STUDENT SHOUT-OUT - IWAN C (YEAR 9)!

We wanted to give a big shout-out and WELL DONE to Iwan in for his recent tennis achievement.

Iwan started playing tennis in September 2021. We are told that he had an amazing coach who taught him the basic skills and, inspired, from then on he wanted to play and learn more, entering into local tournaments for fun and to test his newly acquired skills and love of tennis!

We are told that little did Iwan know, the standards at competition level were beyond his technical abilities. However, undeterred, Iwan continued to work hard, practising the techniques taught and applied himself in the Boys U16 Eastbourne Community Tennis Tournament winning the finals!

What an amazing achievement and display of perseverance! Iwan showcasing our values here and coming out on top. a big congratulations to you Iwan, great job, keep up the hard work.

To celebrate the finals of our first Eastbourne Community Tennis Tournament we’d like to invite everyone for a ‘Picnic in the Park’ on Sunday 12-3pm at Old Town Recreation Ground.

There will be some great tennis being played and looking like the forecast is also on our side.

Bring the family along and support our tennis community!

Bring your own picnic and please remember to keep our park tidy.
