Come along and try out a new sport, or an adaptation of a sport you already love. This event is run by Defiant Sports and Eastbourne Access Group.

🎉 EFAS 2026 - Have Your Say 🗣️

With our annual Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport (EFAS) taking place in just over 6 months, we wanted to hear if you have any suggestions for our 2026 event.

Got a provider you'd like invited? A sport you're interested in? Maybe a whole new area or service the event could include? Let us know in the comments below!

Any idea - big or small - will help us make EFAS the best it can be. So please don't feel scared to pop your idea down.

📄 EFAS Map & Timetable information 🗺️

We’re now 1️ day away from The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport 2025 - so check out our map and arena timetable!

Featured on our map is how tomorrow’s event is going to be laid out. Breaking down the map, you’ll find areas like:

• Entrance and blue badge parking*
• Where to find all the stalls and activities
• Bouncy castle, skate ramps and our newly assembled trampoline
• The Accessible Bike track which is located on the adjacent court
• Stephen The Sensory Bus
• Our Inclusion Hub where you can find refreshments, snacks and first aid

*Please note that the area marked for blue badge parking is limited and is first come first served.

So why not come down to the Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA between 10am-4pm tomorrow and celebrate a day of inclusive sport!

The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport takes place this week on Saturday the 6th of September!

What is The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport? A local festival dedicated to all things inclusive sport! Run by us here at Defiant Sports, it’s a day you won’t want to miss out on!

Here’s what’s in store at EFAS 2025!

• Our ever-popular cycle track
• Our bouncy castle

🎊 EFAS is Back for it's 5th Year! 🎉

The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport (or EFAS) is an annual event to showcase all the incredible accessibility-focused providers from across Eastbourne and neighbouring towns.

It's a great opportunity for anyone with access needs, disabilities, or neurodivergence to find local service providers tailored to their needs.

This year's event will be taking place on Saturday the 6th of September from 10am - 4pm at the Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA.

Want a sneak peek at what EFAS 2024 will look like? Then check out the event map! 👀

We've seen that it might be a little drizzly tomorrow, so make sure to bring waterproofs! We'll have an indoor space with hot drinks where you can stay dry.

We're excited to announce Eastbourne Trampoline will be assisting attendees to do tricks and skills at this year's festival! 🤩

They have asked us to let you know their clothing rules, which you'll need to follow if you want to go on the trampoline:

- No jewellery
- No jeans
- No hoodies
- Long hair must be tied up
- Socks must be worn

Want to know what's snack-a-lackin' at this year's Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport? 🍰🍎

There will be a refreshment zone in the Hub where you can bring your own snacks and drinks or purchase some from our tuckshop area.

We'll have a selection of cakes, crisps, picnic lunch options, sweets, fruit, lollies and ice cream along with hot and cold drinks.

We have a free water refill station at the back of our hub accessed via a grass path. If you've forgotten your refillable water bottle, ask us for a free one.

Only 3 weeks until the big day! 🎆
