Mum and Baby FIT has changed location!
St Christopher's Church Hall in Bare
Starting Wednesday 22nd February 1.15-2.15pm. 6 week term is £33. Prior booking is essential.
This class enables mums to work on regaining core stability and strength after pregnancy and birth, while not having to sacrifice time away from your little one.
All sessions are carefully planned with the women's post natal body in mind. Only appropriate exercises are included and adaptations are given depending on your stage of recovery.

First mum and baby class done for 2017. Now for a crisp walk on the prom with my 2 favs. Looking forward to tomorrow's first session back with all my bootcamp ladies!

NEW YEAR, NEW MUMS, NEW YOU
It's nearly a new year and that time of year when we all start planning our resolutions to eat healthy and exercise.
If you're a mum with a young baby and struggle to fit in exercise, then this is a class for you.
This class is for that very purpose, for you to be able to bring your baby along and complete a workout without having to find childcare.
In the session we will work through a series of collective exercises, with a choice of differing levels to suit the varying stages of post delivery recovery.
You have the opportunity to interact with your baby throughout (if they are awake!) Alternative exercises are provided if you need to hold your baby.
The facilities at the centre in Halton are well equipped for mum's and babies. Both halls have baby change facilities and a kitchen area for milk/food prep.
Classes are Wednesday or Friday 1.15-2.15, limited spaces available. 6 week term starting 4th or 6th for £33.

Merry Christmas mum's and babies. I hope you all have a fab first Christmas with your little ones.
Only a couple of sessions left this term so it's time to get organised for the new year. A complete new plan and new exercises to master and progress through.

Thought I'd share one of my quick and easy salads, perfect for busy mums.
6 ingredients
Add vinegar and lemon to preferred taste, I personally do 3 tbsp of red wine vinegar and the juice of a whole small lemon.
I either add boiled egg, tuna, chicken etc
Or it's just yum on its own!
This give 3-4 servings. Enjoy!

Just a reminder for any mum's that have booked and paid for the term on Wednesday or Friday sessions. If you are want to attend either of the ladies only bootcamp's I run on a Monday and Thursday evening 7-8 at Moorside primary school on Bowerham road. The cost is £4 for the session.
I will modify any exercises that are unsuitable for you in your stage of post natal recovery.

Why 'mum and baby FIT'?
The FIT is for 'Family Inclusive Training'
The first weeks, months and years are so important in shaping the relationship and development of our children.
Why remove them from our lifestyle choices when we can include them.
Yes I know well enough how good it is for mind, body and our sanity to have time for ourselves to go for a run or walk without our dependant in tow!
But how fantastic is it to share it with them, interact with them, set an example for a lifestyle you hope they choose by exposing them to healthy lifestyle habits.
Imitation is a fundamental part of your child's learning and development, take advantage of this and lead them down the path of a happy, healthy, body and mind by being active with them.

Loved meeting more mum's and young babies today. It may have been a smaller group but it was still lots of fun and the babies were entertained as well as entertaining.
Looking forward to the Friday group.
