🚨 Shop closed due to leak 😡

The shop suffered another leak through the ceiling over the weekend, causing a lot of dismay and damage (as you can see).

It's going to take some time for it to be made safe again and we have a lot of work to save stock and try to get back on our feet.

Sadly, that means the shop will be shut for the foreseeable. We're still open and taking orders online and will use this time to try to come back better than ever. It just feels a bit rubbish at the moment.

Apologies to anybody looking to pop in to buy or sell over the next couple of weeks. I'll keep everyone updated but for now I'm off to build an ark.

🧡 On This Day: Netherlands Reach 100 International Matches 💙

On this day in 1928 the Netherlands played their 100th international match, a 1-1 draw against Belgium.

In the near-century since, the Oranje have become icons of international football, known for their stylish play and unforgettable kits.

We're always glad to have abit of Dutch flair in the shop; whether it's their iconic orange home shirts or the blue change strips as worn by the 1928 side.

July = Pre-Season 🏃‍♂️💨

Across the country, footballers from every level are lacing their boots up again to prepare for the season ahead.

That means hill runs, bleep tests and ice baths. Awful stuff when you're in the middle of it but not everything related to training is so horrible.

Our growing Training Gear collection features a mix of modern essentials and vintage classics to keep you looking good however hard you're working.

From Budapest to the Bridge: Chelsea’s Hungarian-Inspired Away Kit Returns 🔴🟢

Before the days of head coaches, technical directors, and global scouting networks, football managers had tremendous influence over every aspect of a club.

At Chelsea, Dave Sexton’s influence was such that he even played a role in designing the Blues’ away kit for the 1974–75 season.

Sexton was fascinated by European football, particularly the great Hungarian sides of the 1950s. The ‘Mighty Magyars’ were the inspiration behind Chelsea’s bold away strip that season with its red and green vertical stripes running down a white body.

Controversial at the time, the kit went on to become a cult classic. Now, 50 years on, Chelsea have revived the look for their 2025-26 away kit.

What do you think of the new version? Does it stack up to the '70s original?

Another successful Eastbourne Open! 🎾

Like much of Eastbourne, we approached the 2025 Eastbourne Open with a touch of trepidation. Despite the positive approach of the tournament organisers, nobody really knew what impact the downgrading of the WTA event would have.

Thankfully, the event was roaring success once again. The atmosphere in the grounds was so positive, town was as buzzy as ever and both tournaments were thoroughly entertaining producing worthy winners in Maya Joint and Taylor Fritz.

We're happy to report from our perspective that it was another fantastic week as well!

Each morning we had a steady stream of first-time visitors looking around the shop on their way to Devonshire Park and hopefully we're not the only business in Eastbourne to have sent people away happy and created long-term customers.

Predictably, the Devonshire Park print was a real hit and we only have two left - one framed and one unframed. So let's do an offer!

We're taking 20% off both products.

Unframed - Now just £7.99!
Framed - Now just £24!

The last two are available online and in the shop, so take advantage whether you're a local or one of those new visitors 👋
