Pevensey U12 opened the 2026 season with an emphatic 93 run over Little Common Ramblers.
Pev named hardball debutants Jonny and Noah in their line up and they helped Pev accumulate 328 runs for the loss of only one wicket (a direct hit run out) in 16 overs. Lex led the scoring with some l***y boundaries (six 4s) as he and Ted enjoyed a 43 run unbeaten partnership.
Connor took two wickets in his overs to put LCR on the back foot. Lex bowled a wicket maiden before captain Sam joined the action with two wickets in two balls. The hat trick ball was dug out by Connor, who kindly batted for LCR, but the skipper finished his spell with his third wicket. Oliver also snared two wickets as LCR finished on 235-8.
The U12s are next in action on Monday 1st June away at Bexhill.🏏
