Hotshots Modern Jive

Hi Dancers,

Having had such a great turnout last month, I'm REALLY looking forward to this month's dance on Saturday 27th June and the newly restyled 🎉 PartyNite 🎊 That's something to look forward to and to help brighten up the month, along with our brand new startup dance ✨EASTBOURNE MODERN JIVE ✨ on Friday 19th June (LU, SHARON & MYSELF).

The NEW FORMAT of 🎉PartyNite 🎊 is with Lite bites and fruit for a change (come along & try it!). Still HOTSHOTS and the same dates - 4th Saturday of each month - still with DJ "Mike THE Man". We do hope you'll be able to come and enjoy dancing to great music at this special monthly dance, where there will be two turbo fans to keep you cool during our hot summer weather (fingers crossed it warms up soon 🤞).

For those of you who knew Ela and wish attend the funeral, the details are below.

What a Fantastic night was had last Saturday. When it is SO hot, one would have expected a low turnout, BUT instead you were arriving from 7.25 onwards with a total turnout of just three short of 50!!!!😁 Thank you all for your support and saying how much you enjoyed the music.

The slight alteration to the format which will now be called 🎉PartyNite 🎊 with lite bites, fruit as a change (come along & try it!) in addition to a little modification to the decor. Still HOTSHOTS and the same dates - 4th Saturday of each month - still with DJ Mike THE Man. On a very sad note, Ella, who loved to come to HOTSHOTS and whom I taught at Uckfield, has died. Such a lovely, lovely lady; she will be very much missed. RIP Ella 🖤

THOUGHTS ON A NEW JOINT DANCE - not a Hotshots one

There's been talk for a while now that you want a local Friday dance, so we're asking for your views before committing ourselves. Also, please, it would be a great help if you could ask any of your dancer friends what their thoughts are too (it's not involving Hotshots). 07754 442027

🎶 DJ Mike 'THE' Man will be playing old and new dance favourite tracks and also takes requests - don't be shy, come and ask me anytime!
🍰 For a change, we thought we'd introduce a few more sweet treats to keep your energy levels up, with biscuits, cakes & apple pies to accompany our other delicious light bites.
🧋 Plus there will be tea, coffee and cordial so you stay hydrated too!
🪩 Stone Cross has a great wooden sprung dance floor and there's free on-site parking.

Hi Dancers,

Thank you for your support on Saturday; we had dancers turning up till gone 9pm!

I found another selection of super new tracks which when added to our extensive library of other great dance music made, as one person said, an eclectic mix 🎶 Thank you all for your nice comments ❤️

The hot sausage rolls and other light snacks vanished throughout the evening - all that dancing obviously made you hungry!

🕺Our next dance is 23rd May at Stone Cross 💃 and we hope to see you there. A thank you also to ✨ all you lovely dancers ✨who give up your time to help keep HOTSHOTS going, the oldest Modern Jive club in East & West Sussex - over 25 years.
