Following my recent post confirming the passing of ex Old Town Boys FC manager Tony Roberts , I can now confirm that his funeral will take place at Christ The King Church (by Langney Roundabout) on December 12th at 11am. 💛💚

It is with a heavy heart that I am reporting the passing of a great Old Town Boys manager Tony Roberts. Tony was one of the most successful OTB managers there has been . Not only was he a great coach and manager but a true gentleman. As chairman of the club for 25 years I can honestly say he had all the attributes you would wish to see in a grass roots youth football manager being kind, considerate, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring his team gave their best both on and off the field.He was part of the reason OTBFC become one of the most respected and successful youth football clubs in the county back in 1990’s. I was proud to call him a good friend and my thoughts are with his family & friends.💛💚
