Lovely afternoon tea at the club, Wimbledon on the TV, strawberries and cream on our tables along with a beautiful assortment of finger sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones and cakes. A day of baking by our lovely cook Denise, thank you for your passion and hard work and thank you to Sue, Sophie & Anna for helping serve. A tennis quiz got us all thinking or should that be guessing but a lot of fun thanks Dave for organising it and for all your work behind the scenes along with Liz & Sandie 👏🏻👏🏻

Barn Dance Saturday 27th June

Calling all members who would like to join us for a Barn Dance on Saturday 27th June.

Dave Rannie will be our caller and will be sure to give us a fun evening.

We need a few more attendees to make the event viable.

Feel free to bring along friends and family.

Tickets are available from behind the bar and are £15 each to include a Ploughman's of either cheese or pate to be specified at time of booking. Also please state who you would like to sit with.

Rinkside Retreat Café

Our refurbished café has been very successful during the winter season of October 2025- to April 2026. We have served hearty breakfasts, a variety of lunch specials, paninis and sandwiches and our very popular Sunday lunch. Our cooks Denise and Leanne have baked numerous sponges, shortbread and fruit cake which are available every day. We thank them both for their hard work.
Our summer season has now started, opening Monday to Friday 9.30-2pm until the end of September. We will continue to offer the same menu plus look out for our Afternoon Teas which will be advertised and can be pre- booked.
Members can invite a visitor (3 times) to our club to enjoy our facilities and then for a small annual fee can enjoy all our social events as well!

Congratulations to Linda Stanley, Sue Taylor & Louise Kenward who reached the Ladies National Over 50’s Triples Quarter Final narrowly losing by 3 points to a team from Nottingham 👏🏻👏🏻 well done girls.

Jo Morris and Chris Dodd also reached a National Quarter Final in the Over 60’s Pairs losing to a team from Exmouth 👏🏻👏🏻 well done girls.

Other members of our club Kitty Morphett & John Cable also reached the Last 16, Kitty in the National Family Pairs with her Father Rob Morphett & John in the Mens Over 50 Triples with Rob Morphett & Steve Boswell all representing Falaise IBC 👏🏻👏🏻 well done Kitty & John
