Eastbourne and District Indoor Bowls Club

Another fun evening with our quiz master Dave setting some very tricky questions covering, comedy, music, general knowledge, anagrams and country houses! 12 teams took part the strongest team taking home the chocolate buttons was “Sharon’s Not Turned Up” in second place tonight was “The Naughty Corner” and the winners were “Five Go Mad on the Bowling Green”.
Thanks as always to the social team for sorting the raffle etc, to all those who helped set the tables, to Sophie behind the bar and to Dave and his fabulous assistant Liz who also helped behind the bar 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Next event is a charity Afternoon Tea in aid of Breast Cancer Now on Wednesday 19th August at 2:30 a few tickets still available then on Friday 21st it’s Bingo with the Bingo Boys Chris & George 7pm for 7:30 start £10 a book and two flyers, 14 games in all.

‘Wimbledon Afternoon Tea”

Lovely afternoon tea at the club, Wimbledon on the TV, strawberries and cream on our tables along with a beautiful assortment of finger sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones and cakes. A day of baking by our lovely cook Denise, thank you for your passion and hard work and thank you to Sue, Sophie & Anna for helping serve. A tennis quiz got us all thinking or should that be guessing but a lot of fun thanks Dave for organising it and for all your work behind the scenes along with Liz & Sandie 👏🏻👏🏻

Barn Dance Saturday 27th June

Calling all members who would like to join us for a Barn Dance on Saturday 27th June.

Dave Rannie will be our caller and will be sure to give us a fun evening.

We need a few more attendees to make the event viable.

Feel free to bring along friends and family.

Tickets are available from behind the bar and are £15 each to include a Ploughman's of either cheese or pate to be specified at time of booking. Also please state who you would like to sit with.
