Balance is so important so from tomorrow we are starting a six-week course in . We will be exploring various aspects of balance and how to safely wobble. You will learn why we struggle and what to do to feel more steady whether you are on your yoga mat or simply climbing the stairs! We will laugh and bring yoga to life! It has been a stressful week and yes we all feel anxious at times. The reasons can be complex. Sometimes we may need medication, a therapy and sometimes woods and a beach can calm the racing thoughts and heart. Yesterday was my healing day. If you like me, feel as if the world was falling apart , take time out. Spend sometime in nature, call a friend and move your body. This may help. Explore various options. It may take some time, but change will happen. After all, nothing ever stays the same.

Yoga practice this morning and then the hardest part of the day- rest, doing nothing. Sauna on the beach and time out. No running, no gym, no house work- nothing. Was it hard? Yes. Being still, schedule time for ourselves can be harder than anything else. Does this resonate with you? If so, take your diary and make a date for yourself. Rest. This can feel like a luxury yet it is not. We all deserve some me time. That’s your most advance yoga practice.

Easter has been and gone, Spring is officially here. New season, new 5 weeks course starts with me tomorrow . As we look ahead to our future/ summer holidays/ new challenges-we often get carried away- burn out, fear and disappointment can show up unexpectedly.

Missed a flight- frustration. Long delay- uneasy and fear of cancellation of no trip. Same can happen on the mat. This 5 weeks course will give you tools to avoid burn out, look forward to physical and mental challenges instead of fearing them, to apply yoga philosophy and moves when you really need them, in your life- as all joy and drama happens.

What a wonderful weekend it was! Spring is here. This evening in we will truly connect breath and movement, so you feel the power of flow. Flow is a natural state, seasons change, night and day flow and exchange their energy, so is inhale and exhale. When we resist this flow and change, we may feel stuck and frustrated. So book your class, let yourself follow your inhale and exhale, let go of resistance and expectation what your yoga practice should look like. Remember- there is no class on Easter Monday, so recharge your inner batteries this evening.

Walking is so incredibly good for us. Good for the body and good for the mind. As I am planning some spring time walks, I thought of our yoga practice as an asset to help us move with grace, confidence and ease, to help us become and remain curious of our surroundings and ourselves. The spring is almost here. So are longer days, walks. Whatever the weather, taking timeout is nature is healing for the body and mind. Moving skilfully and being fully present is essential to enjoying every moment. If you are feeling overwhelmed by your daily schedule/ relentless tragic events so eagerly reported- give yoga practice a try. It will will not heal and mend everything, but it will help you find perspective, help you find some stillness and calm. This evening in we will focus on withdrawing the senses, finding foundations to feel steady when life gets challenging. I look forward to seeing you on the mat. Future you is grounded, fearless and curious, whatever happens.
