MENS 1ST TEAM - TOMORROW'S FIXTURE
Vs Slough (Away) 2pm pushback
With a much fuller squad this week, the top men's squad go on the road up to Slough to seek some vital comfort points. Those digits will help them stay away from the bottom two in the league, which tomorrow's opposition is one of the those two.
GAME RESULTS - SATURDAY 12TH MARCH
Summary: 11 games, 6 wins, 5 loses
- Both the top mens and ladies sides found it hard going against top end of the league opposition
- Even with a heavily depleted side, that was just at barebones, and with the manager (Dave Miles) having to play as well, still managed to pull a decent away win against Basingstoke.
- 3 fixtures to go and the ladies 2s still grip the top of the league with a solid away in against a hard-working Portsmouth side
- Men's 3s keep on the push for promotion with a comprehensive win and clean sheet away to Fareham
- Decent wins for the Men's 4s and 5s, with the 5th team playing second place above them next week and needing to score something like an easy 15 goals to take 2nd spot (lol)
- The Men's Vets 1s actually got to play this week, A pretty rare occurrence it seems this season. Taking it pretty comfortably away as well.
Great work everyone, back stronger next week!

A big challenge this week as the team led by capitano Amz Sheehan travel up to table toppers Reading. Another heavy shift to put in but we're sure they'll bring the same passion as we have seen at every game.
BOYS U12 WIN HAMPSHIRE CUP!
Cup squad list:
Oscar C, Zach I, Will E, Ollie S, Tommy B, Luke A, Eddie K, Charlie G, Logan S, Zach D.
They came top of their group and finished unbeaten in the early stages of the competition. The group was Wi******er, Havant, Basingstoke, Yately and Andover.
The semi was against Fleet and Eweshott which went to penalties penalties. The goalkeeping prodigy Zach D saved two of their three with Zach D and Will E scored for Trojans.
A tight game saw them narrowly beating Haslemere 1-0 in the final on sunday with the goal being scored by Luke.
The boys were amazing all day, playing some lovely hockey with an excellent attitude and team spirit. A true credit to Trojans. π βοΈ
Congratulations to the team and everyone involved with them!
GAME RESULTS - SAT 5TH MARCH
- They were 2-nil up at half time but with two late goals from ISCA, the Ladies 1s took a hard 3-2 loss at home
- Men's 1s took a fine away win up in Ali G country, which gives them some crucial points to help stay away from the bottom two spots
- A surprising loss for our ladies 2s luckily didn't make them lose their top spot as Southampton also lost their game to Slough.
- Men's 3s had their backs against the wall in the second half of their game against Havant, who were hot for an upset. They sat a few points below the 3s in the league and wanted to steal the 2nd promotional spot. They did enough to share the spoils and to keep Havant at arms length for now.
- A fine win for the Men's 6s who are having a decent up tick in form atm.
Great work everyone, back stronger next week!

Game Results - Saturday 19th February
League fixture catch up weekend for a few of the men's sides and only the top ladies side in action.
- Ladies 1s saw a stern challenge up at mid tabling Surbiton, and gave them a great game with goals coming from Lauren Anning and Amy Sheehan. However, they proved too strong to take a thrid win in a row.
- Men's twos had a battling game against the top Hamble side. A close game where the rub of the green didn't unfortunately go our way.
- A bitterly wet and cold game for the men's 3s at midday made it difficult to find the great hockey form they normally see from them. They eventually squeezed out a victory that puts them in second place once again.
- Men's Vets 1s it a hefty total against West Wilts, smashing past a dozen, with i think 3 players on hattricks.
- Men's 6s found it heavy going up at Andover
Great work everyone. Back stronger next week!
