Plenty of tries, big hits and after weeks of trying we managed to get a game on!

🔥 NOW THAT’S A WAY TO START PRE-SEASON.

12 months. No official wins. Until today.

The Pirates put that record firmly behind us with a 48–28 victory over Wi******er in our first pre-season fixture. 🏴‍☠️

A huge amount of hard work has gone into getting this group back to winning ways, and today was a massive step in the right direction.

👏 48 points scored
💪 20-point victory
🏆 First official win in over 12 months

There’s plenty still to work on, but winning feels pretty damn good.

A massive thank you to everyone who came down and supported the boys today.

All the best to Wi******er for the Season coming, thank you for the fixture.

It’s finally time to get back on the pitch. 🔥

The Pirates kick off our first pre-season fixture of the 2026/27 campaign today as we welcome Wi******er Rugby Football Club to The Hub.

After putting in the work during pre-season, it’s time to get some minutes in the legs, test combinations and start building towards the new season.

The Pirates are back in action this Saturday as we welcome Wi******er to The Hub for our first pre-season hit-out. 🔥

Unfortunately tomorrow’s game against Trojans has been cancelled due to the opposition picking up a few injuries at training during the week deeming the pitch too hard.

The squad will have to wait another week until they get some game time. Fourth time lucky surely 🤞
