🟢🟡 Clubhouse Upgrade 🟢🟡

Our downstairs area in the clubhouse has had an upgrade with new furniture so the room and also upstairs room are more comfortable and welcoming spaces for players, members and visitors.

A larger fridge has also been donated to replace the existing faulty one in the clubhouse kitchen.

A huge thank you to Lloyds Banking Group Furnival Court site for their generous donation of the tables, chairs and fridge. Thanks to Amanda Brear who submitted the application for the furniture and to Michelle Haley, MAC Program Manager'.

💚Farewell to James Barwise 💛

After an unforgettable season in the Green & Gold, it’s time to say farewell to our Aussie, James Barwise, as he heads back to Australia 🇦🇺✈️

James has been a huge part of the club both on and off the field, making plenty of memories, runs and friends along the way. From his performances in the middle to everything he’s brought to the changing room and social side of the club (including a lovely rendition of Country Roads on the karaoke Saturday night 😂), he’s certainly left his mark on Eckington CC! 🏏

And who could forget the record-breaking partnership with KB 🔥 A huge moment in ECC history and one that will live long in the memory!

We’re incredibly grateful for everything you’ve given to the club.

All the best in your forthcoming season in Australia.

It’s been a pleasure having you as part of the ECC family 💚💛

Safe travels back home, James — you’ll always have a home at Eckington! 🇦🇺✈️

All the best, mate. Until next time… 👋
