One message.
One review.
One person saying “I loved this.”
That can carry an indie author further than you know.
Books aren’t built by algorithms alone.
They’re built by connection.
So if you’ve ever supported an author…
please know it mattered.
~ just a wee indie author hugging the hell out of her second book in a series (she never thought she would write) knowing that book three is already screaming at her.

🌹🥀 Quick pivot I didn’t fully see coming—
Legacy of Blood & Hope has been sitting in YA… and apparently just minding its business there while quietly not quite fitting.
A few conversations (including one with a beloved 🌙friend who actually teaches YA and sees how teens interpret this stuff in real time 👀) got me looking at it differently.
Turns out… the way adults read certain themes—relationships, intensity, all the morally grey chaos—is not always how teens process it. 🤔
Which explains a lot.
So, Sady’s story has moved to Adult.
I’ll also be adding a short preface—nothing dramatic, just a bit of context for what you’re walking into.
Same story. Just… relocated to a shelf that makes more sense.
Anyway. Carry on 😌📚

🌹🥀Meet the characters (or should I say chaos) behind Legacy of Blood & Hope
💫 Sady — think Dean Wi******er energy collided with a girl who never quite learned how to belong… with just enough Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega era) edge to keep things uncomfortable
☕ Kelsey — soft and kind doesn’t mean weak… and she’s living proof
🖤 Greyson — written during in my Jared Leto phase. Mischievous or dangerous? Maybe. Sady’s inappropriate school teacher crush? Definitely.
🔥 Sera — if Maleficent had a sharper edge and zero hesitation when it comes to burning the world down for her child
🦸♂️ Jamie — low-key superhero energy… the kind you don’t notice until you really, really need it
🏍️ Sam — basicallyJason Momoa energy… (Harley Davidson included)..all power and presence, until you realize he’s the one holding everything (and everyone) together
🌱 Linda — quiet, observant… and somehow always exactly where she needs to be (green thumb goddess exists in real life)
🏹 Miriam — modern day Amazonian warrior meets chilled out leader… but magnetic, and completely unapologetic in who she is 🏳️🌈
💎 Ramira — Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie era) meets something older, quieter… the kind of woman who already knows how this ends
⚡ Michaela — the friend who will say it out loud, even when you really wish she wouldn’t (inspired by real-life)
Which one would you like to meet…in person…if they were real 🤓?

Some of you may read the very abbreviated version on my Instagram, but y'all know there is sooo much more to my stories than a wee caption that fits onto your phone screen.
For those of you who love a good story, the occasional eye-roll and dumb joke....here is that version.
Movement, Moonlight, and the Moment Everything Shifted
Candles, certifications, and the month my financial foundation changed.

❖ January has been loud in my head and absolutely useless at my fingertips.
Ideas spill out of me when I’m walking, dreaming, pulling tarot, making coffee—whole scenes, whole worlds. But the moment I sit down to write? My brain files a formal complaint and goes on strike. 🤦🏻♀️
🌹Everlasting is open on my screen—demanding to be marketed. Algorithms. Posts. Pins. The glamorous life of self-publishing gremlin work. 🙄 While Everrising is quietly whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
Meanwhile, the book I actually want to be writing—currently nicknamed 💀TBD💀—is fully alive in my dreams. Gothic. 1827 Edinburgh. Graveyards, healing rites, whispered histories. I’ve even signed up for a February talk on the city’s pre-15th century healing traditions because apparently I don’t do “casual research.”
So here is how much of January has looked: latte made, tarot card drawn, laptop open, muse being aggressively side-eyed. 😒
So, don’t mind me, just plotting the return of words in February—just a wicked little yes.✍🏻
