Top reps was 7 and I needed 8 to win the event and secure overall 1st.
The screams of my friends and .prd give me the chills every time I watch this video.
After the 8th rep I collapsed and they had to drag me out. I left nothing on the platform.

3rd place overall on this with 58m.

Event 2: Deadlift Ladder
230, 250, 270, 290kg
Plan was to get to 270kg as fast as possible and finish 2nd in the event.
I was not even close to getting 290kg but next year this is in the books.
Brilliant job from for being the only man to lift the 290kg and win the Deadlift event.

The fight of the U90kg men!
🥇1st place in the event with 7 reps at 115kg AXLE.
What helped me win this event:
✅️Joined a weightlifting Gym
✅️Mastered the Power Clean and the Jerk.
✅️Visualised I was the best in the Country on this event.
~I was literally saying to myself you are the best in this before touching the Axle on my training sessions.

Deadlift 140-240Kg Progression.
Speaking to more advanced deadlifters (300kg pulls) out there and all of them had this to say:
"Stop overthinking your pulls and set-up, BE AGGRESSIVE, BE CONFIDENT"
I was looking for the perfect cue to make me Deadlift Big.
Instead, is the mindset that I was seeking.
