Some weeks begin terribly...
Can you relate to this scenario? โคต๏ธ
You wake up feeling tired,
You forgot something on the way to work,
You get stuck in traffic,
A lot gets added on your plate,
You end up skipping the gym,
You eat pizza for dinner because you are too tired to cook. ๐ซ
We would call it a โBADโ day, a very bad day, wouldnโt we?
What if I told you could have a GREAT day even if a lot of things donโt go according to plan?
How?
โก๏ธ It starts with your MINDSET,
Your PERCEPTION of those challenges.
Instead of letting the challenges weigh you down, look for hidden gems and opportunities to laugh at yourself, to ask for help from a college, to order a nice green smoothie at lunch. ๐
Take just 5 min to decide how you want to RESPOND to any situation and see how your day turns out to be. ๐

She didnโt believe this was possible!
Sonia is a NHS nurse, working 12 hour shift, night shifts, who also loves to travel.
Losing weight was very difficult for her before we met.
1๏ธโฃ When we first met we had an ๐ฒ๐

These are some things I am incorporating to my diet and lifestyle to stay healthier:
๐ฅฆAdding more dark green veggies
๐ Taking a few supplements to help me make sure things are on point (optional)
๐ค Proper rest like 8-9h a night which is something I am loving!
๐งฃWrap up and dress warm
๐Praying for good health and a strong immune system because God is above all the one who strengthens and keeps us safe.

3 Tips For Your Meals Out This Weekend!
Do you think you need to cut out all social events because now you want to lose weight?
Absolutely not.
To create sustainable results, you need to learn how to have both.
Here are 3 tips that will help you:
โ๏ธ PLANNING
Most events will be known ahead of time.
Look at the menu, apply tip 2 & 3 and plan your other meals that day and/or that weekend to allow for more flexibility.
For example,
If I know I am having a dinner out on Saturday night.
I will fast and delay my breakfast till 12-1pm, then have a high volume (veggies) _+ High protein meal- my go to is eggs and egg whites omlette with mushroom. ๐ณ
โ๏ธSHARE
Instead of having your starter, main, dessert and drink (that can be 80% of your daily calorie allowance for a deficit), do this:
Skip starter (or share)
Have your main (avoid fried things)
Share the dessert ๐
Skip drinks or choose a low calorie option like spirits + soda, gin and tonic.
โ๏ธ+โ๏ธ HYDRATE
Yes! Itโs the simplest, most obvious tip but I bet you donโt do it ๐
By hydrating, 3L, of water that day it will help you: curb cravings, stay more satiated, eat less, and have energy to move and choose good choices.

First time I've taken a proper holiday in a while.
One thing that makes me excellent at coaching my clients is that I am also on a journey.
This keeps me connect to what clients experience on a day to day, how to help them overcome their challenges (because I am overcoming mines), and keeps me growing which means I can inspire that growth in others.
I used to believe deep down I didn't deserve a break.
Every time I would "rest", I'd feel guilty because I believed I needed to earn rest and that I should be working harder to take a break.
โ That's false and I learnt that.
โ
Rest is necessary for us to be productive, think clearly, have energy for the things we want to accomplish.
I have broken my hamster wheel and I have enjoyed this holiday so so much, feeling rested, recharged, and more creative than before!
I wonder, can you guys relate to this feeling of "guilty resting"? ๐ค

Nicola was where probably many of you are...

Remember, that dusty old note you haven't probably looked at in a while? Dig it out. ๐๐งน
๐ What was that 1 thing you wanted to accomplish this year that you haven't yet?
๐ Can you accomplish it or significantly move it forward in the next 3 months?
2๏ธโฃ ๐๐ต๐๐ป๐ธ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐ป โ
In order to move this project forward you want to break it down into ๐ฅ๐ข๐ช๐ญ๐บ ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ด & dedicate time and space for them, like you would for going to work.
๐ Non-negotiable: put them in your calendar to block the time for you to move this project forward and also leave some time for things you enjoy and allow you to rest.

๐ Treat yourself as you're biggest cheerleader and best friend.

Kathryn just hit that point where weight loss was not easy.

Social Media can be really toxic and detrimental to your progress and well being.
But, like any tool- it depends on how it's used.
I was speaking with my clients the other day about this and I wanted to share it with you too.
If you go on Instagram, Tiktok or Threads these days and you feel:
โ You confidence and self worth go down
โYou feel more down and disappointed with yourself
โYou want to give up because others seems so ahead of you, then....
๐ฃ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ.
And also โก๏ธ If something makes you feel like this, you CAN and absolutely MUST put a stop to it. โ

Your well being and journey is the most important.
You will go at different speeds than others and that's ok- as long as you're moving forward.
