We’re so excited to welcome our dancers back! 💙✨

Classes restart Saturday 15th August, and we can’t wait to see all of our familiar faces and meet some new ones too! From building confidence and nurturing a love of dance, to creating friendships and memories along the way, there’s so much to look forward to.

We still have a few spaces available in our Tweenies (2–3 years) and Pre-School classes. If your little one would love to join us, get in touch to reserve their place! 💙

Madison was also a finalist in the Jessie Stewart Haggarty MBE Memorial Sword, qualifying after gaining 1st place for Swords in her section. ⚔️

💙 IFDAS Musselburgh Stage Festival 2026

Musselburgh Stage Festival International Festival of Dancing and the Arts (IFDAS) will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Long before we became teachers, we stood on this stage at The Brunton Halls as children ourselves, creating memories that have stayed with us for a lifetime. It feels incredibly special to now watch our own pupils make memories of their own.

So much has changed over the years, we may have swapped cassette tapes for digital music (although we'll always smile remembering Jeff expertly twirling a pencil to find exactly the right place on the tape! 🥹) but what has never changed is the heart of this wonderful festival. Its sense of community, inclusivity and genuine love of dance is what makes Musselburgh so special, year after year.

A heartfelt thank you to Elizabeth Gollan for everything she does to organise this incredible festival. The care, thought and dedication you put into every detail never goes unnoticed. From creating intermediate sections to give more dancers opportunities to shine, to ensuring every Baby dancer leaves with a medal, and preserving the memories of so many special people through the trophies and awards. Everything you do comes from the heart. Thank you for all that you do, we appreciate you so much.

A huge thank you also to our wonderful teaching team. From the teachers who choreograph and rehearse routines to those who teach week in, week out, building strong technique and foundations in every class, these achievements belong to all of you. Our dance school truly is a team effort, and we couldn't do it without your support, creativity, commitment and care 🫶🏼

To our amazing dance families, thank you. Thank you for your continued support, your trust and your belief in our school. You understand the values we strive to instil in every child, and you reinforce those values at home. Your encouragement, kindness and commitment play such an important role in every dancer's journey, and we are incredibly grateful.

The progress we've seen from every single one of you has been incredible. More importantly than the trophies and placings, we are proud of the people you are becoming. Continue to work hard, be proud of your own journey, support one another and always lead with kindness, humility and respect. Those qualities will take you far beyond the stage.

IFDAS Musselburgh Stage Festival ~ Troupes & Groups 💙✨

Troupes and Groups Day will always be one of the highlights of our week at Musselburgh. It’s the day when dancers of all ages come together, supporting one another and sharing the stage as one team.

We were absolutely thrilled with the results, with three 1st places awarded in Groups and Troupes 🏆 but more than any trophy, the greatest reward was watching the joy on their faces as they performed together with confidence, enthusiasm and friendship.

What an unforgettable day. We are so proud of every single one of you! 💙

We were absolutely delighted to have three dancers representing our school in the Baby Tap and Open Tap Finals at yesterday’s IFDAS Musselburgh Stage Festival. What an incredible achievement, and what an outstanding standard of dancing throughout both finals.
Congratulations to every finalist, you were all simply superb and well done to the overall winners, very well deserved.
