Hi all, Team SQR had a great time at Doncaster last weekend. Some other news is that our antweight version of Corkscrew will participating in the classic wars replica tournament hosted by Team Oeletar. Round of 32 goes live tonight on their YouTube channel :)

Hi all, been a while since we last posted here but Team SQRs first event of the year will be this weekend at Extreme Robots at Doncaster. We will be providing Storm Force and Corkscrew to go on display at the event as well as our fleet of antweights which will be playing in the intervals in between shows. Hope to see you there :)

With the success of the last couple of years, Team SQR are back from hosting our small event we did for the third year running at Burgess Park as part of the family fun evening as part of Ferry Fair 2025 in our hometown in South Queensferry. People getting a shot of driving antweight robots, demo battles from beetleweight and featherweight robots, heavyweight robots from TVs Robot Wars on display as well as Jamie McHargs replica of house robot Dead Metal. Smiles all around and a great time had by all

Hi all, thought I'd let you we'll be organizing a small event as part of South Queensferry's Ferry Fair as part of the family fun evening at Burgess-Park on Thursday 7th August for the third year running. We'll be there from 6pm till 9pm doing featherweight and beetleweight demos, offering opportunities for the public to have a shot and drive antweight robots in battle and also a heavyweight display area featuring TV robots old and new. Why not pop over and say hello? :)

Team SQR are currently at South Queensferry for Battle in the Burgh 5 where Storm Force is on display with Jasper and also Shunt and Dead Metal :)

Team SQRs next event will be Battle in the Burgh 5 this Sunday at the South Queensferry scout hall where we’ll be bringing Storm Force to go on display :)

The latest addition to my fleet of antweight robots, an antweight replica of Stinger!

This has been a very fun antweight to drive and play with since I got it and I’m sure it will be when I go to future events

Team SQR have just finished our first day at our even in Doncaster this weekend. We’ve had Hellbent and Corkscrew going on display getting pictures with the public along with the first version of Gabriel and house robot Matilda from the old series of Robot Wars.

Our antweights Corkscrew plus the two new ones to our ranks Salamander and the new unnamed antweight made their debut at the event. They had a lot of fun fighting the others when the public were getting a shot at driving them. Been a great day so far, bring on tomorrow :)

Team SQR will have our first event of the year at the Scotia Con 2025 on Sunday 9th February where we will be judging the Big Bot Blasphemy event organised by Harry from Team Panoramic at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow. Hope to see you there :)
