Police in Edinburgh were on the scene of a collision on Corstorphine Road on Saturday morning, after a Royal Mail van collided with a private hire driver at around 11am.

"On past Haymarket to join the Roseburn Path, and I have to say this section of the cycle path west is a dream. The two-way, separated cycle route is popular during commuting times. According to Cycling Scotland data, a strip along here has seen an 83% increase in cycling from January 2024 to January 2025 – and I’m not surprised."
