"I'm running this marathon in honour of my late cousin Ben May. He was the youngest of our clan and taken from us far too soon. He's going to be my inspiration when the going gets tough, especially in those last kms. His incredible athleticism and fitness were admirable, and I hope to channel his mental grit.
Any donations to , Ben's chosen charity, and one he'd begun planning a campaign for before his untimely passing, would be hugely appreciated."
Harriet, we are so grateful to you and wish you all the best for your upcoming challenge. What an inspiration! We know Ben would be so thrilled and proud of your amazing efforts. ๐ฅฐ๐ Go Harriet.๐จ

Most people see a steady life - a colleague, a friend, a partner simply โshowing up.โ What they donโt see is the profound, quiet dictate required to keep that stability from shattering.
Living with epilepsy is an act of constant, internal engineering.
Itโs a life governed by:
๐The Chemical Clock: An existence measured in twelve- hour cycles, where a plastic pill tray is the thin line between a normal day and โsystem reboot.โ
๐ง The Mental Toll: Navigating the side -effect burden โ the brain fog, the fatigue and the tremors that are the non- negotiable price of attempted safety.
๐ชThe Advocacy: The relentless mental fortitude it takes to ensure refills, navigate medical hurdles, and explain the invisible condition to a visible world.
It takes immense grit to trust a body that requires a chemical concoction to stay upright. It takes courage to manage a lifelong medical regimen while refusing to let it define the boundaries of a soul.๐ชฝ
To those who carry the weight, your resilience is a feat of strength. Your prescription schedule, a victory.
๐We see the bravery in your quietest moments.๐
