Skate of Mind

Was really happy to run a wee skating session for some primary school children in East Lothian last week. I am still not fit enough to be skating regularly, but I'm hoping this is a bit of a move forward 😁

I am selling some support i used for my injuries. All cleaned and in good condition. 1 knee, 2 ankle, 1 wrist, 2 shoulder supports.
All donations will go towards the skating is for everyone class that will hopefully start up in the summer.
Will be selling more equipment soon.

I have been quiet recently due to an ongoing health issue. I have been on the waiting list for nearly two years. I am fed up as getting heaver nor being able to skate like I used to..so trying weights and cycling. This sweaty face is me sorting things myself 💪💪💪mission get back on skates more ❤️🛼❤️

I keep these in my bedroom as if I put them away, I would be sad. Figures crossed 2025 is much more time on wheels ❤️

I'm really proud of these skaters making it through to Team GB. I know two of the girls, and they are so hard working and talented, and I am very excited to see them in action. ❤️❤️

Spent time with Isla yesterday. Isla has only been with us twice and has managed to let go of me completely. This is amazing as we found out she likes dancing, so used music to help her relax and soften her knees. This all helped her balance massively, we sing, and she has a great time. All of my skaters at have been building up strength and balance, and I could not be prouder of them all. I am looking for more funding to continue this project at the moment, but thank you to for helping us get started. ❤️🛼❤️🛼❤️

I am so very proud of all my skaters youth zone. Every week, they try so hard and remember little bits when I come back. The staff are amazing and support the young people so beautifully. funded . Thank you to and for helping me with skates.
I'm hoping to get more funding to continue working with Capability Scotland.
I am off skates and slowing down to get some health issues sorted, hence why I am so quiet.

Sadly, due to some health and financial issues, we will be holding off classes this term. If parents still owe payments, please pay ASAP.
Also, running classes is tricky. 90% of people are amazing, but sometimes people don't pay or cancel late, meaning I can not fill the space.
We have lost our email and website now.

So excited to see so many skaters I habe love skating with and against make the training squad for team scotland.

Had another great session with today. I am really enjoying getting to know the staff and young people. Had Ava sbd Anna helping me make these sessions are amazing as we can. It' great to see how quickly all the young people are taking to skating.

We are looking for a couple of volunteers to support sessions. SoM is running for the young people who attend .
These sessions are hugely important. We want to give the group an opportunity to try roller skating. These sessions are in Edinburgh on Saturday mornings, so if you have time and want to do something amazing, message us for dates and times.
It is essential that you are supportive and encouraging.
