It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Lorraine Ross. At the request of Lorraine’s family, we are sharing the funeral arrangements.
Lorraine’s funeral will take place on Thursday, 11th December at 12:00pm at Mortonhall, followed by a gathering at the Club.
All are warmly welcome to attend.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Lorraine’s family at this difficult time.

Last night Mayfield Bowling Club became our first League Champions of 2025 clinching the Division 4 title after a 12 game winning streak and completing their title with 2 games remaining

MAYFIELD BOWLING CLUB DEFIBRILLATOR CAMPAIGN
Mayfield Bowling Club are aiming to raise £1,500 for a community defibrillator which will sit on their outside wall on Cobden Road.
Equipment like this provides a life saving chance to someone in desperate need and can be used by emergency services in the event of cardiac arrest and can be registered by British Heart Foundation .
In 2022, Daniel Johnson MSP and I attended CPR training at the Polwarth Tavern after regulars raised money for a defibrillator in memory of its late co-owner, Alan.
